Intern: Lowes.com Business Analyst

Lowe?s Summer Internship Program offers challenging assignments to undergraduate and graduate students, enhancing their understanding of the retail business world through valuable, hands-on experience with a FORTUNE 50 company. The summer internship program begins June 6th with a three day orientation, and lasts until August 10th. All internships are paid and housing is available for interns who qualify. The Intern will work closely with the Lowes.com Program Manager to define detailed business requirements for upcoming enhancements to Lowes.com. Develop business case expectations around cost and potential return of those enhancements. Assist development team in successfully interpreting and realizing those requirements. Monitor and assess the actual performance of those enhancements once they are launched and compare them to initial expectations. Required Qualifications: A background in computer science particularly around requirements specification and agile development, followed/supplemented by business related studies (accounting, marketing, merchandising, business case development) will be useful. An engaging and energetic approach to team participation and team leadership is required. Majors: Business with a Computer Science background. Master's candidate between first and second year of a graduate program. Candidates must be currently enrolled students in an accredited degree-seeking program in order to be eligible for an internship. This position has potential for full-time conversion upon candidate?s graduation.
