Intern - Marketing - Customer Segmentation

Intern roles/responsibilities could include:
·         Design a project that will allow us to detect and identify customer segments within the global OG business by analyzing customer buying behavior data.
·         Research other companies and industries for best in class examples of customer programs such as loyatly programs, growth councils, VOC's, advisory councils, etc.  Recommend ones that might be applicable to our business.
·         Design the optimum method and format to track and maintain AML (approved manufacturer's list) data both by product and by customer.  Collect the global AML data we have now, determine the best central repository for it, and develop/implement a process for sales maintenance of this data.
·         Work with Sales to develop a complete AML listing by customer and by product.
·         If time allows, collect specification books for key account plants / KA customers for later use in spec penetration efforts.

 

Education
·         In pursuit of a MBA/Master's Degree in Business / Marketing
Experience
·         At least 3  years of Professional experience in marketing, business analytics, or related field
Skills:
·         Strong MS Office, database analytics
·         General B2B business acumen
·         Strong Marketing background
Timing:
·          All programs begin in June 2012; Must be able to start and work during this time
