Description: Network/OS Intern:Job Summary: Network/operating system team member within AAIs Unmanned Air System (UAS) group, assisting in the configuration and monitoring of network devices and operating systems.Education: Completed at least four semesters working towards Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science/Engineering, or related field that includes a working knowledge of networks and operating systems.Required Skills: Knowledge of networks and operating systems, experience with Cisco, Juniper, Windows Server 2003/2008, and/or Red Hat Linux preferred Familiarity with MS Windows-based PCs and standard Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power-Point, etc). Knowledge, appropriate to the current academic level, of networks, operating systems, and problem solving techniques. Ability to work with people in a collaborative environment and earn the respect of peers. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Effective listening skills. Applicants need to be self-motivated, conscientious and willing to learn. Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a government security clearance. This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.
