Crédit Agricole CIB is the Corporate and Investment Banking arm of the Crédit Agricole Group, the world’s sixth-largest bank by total assets ('The Banker', July 2012). Crédit Agricole CIB offers its clients a comprehensive range of products and services in capital markets, brokerage, investment banking, structured finance, corporate banking and international private banking. The bank provides support to clients in large international markets through its network with a presence in major countries in Europe, Americas, Asia and Middle East.
This is an exciting opportunity to assist and support the EM Debt Capital Markets team in its marketing to potential clients and deal execution
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the team in the preparation of marketing materials and pitches, primarily for EM DCM (including CIS but also other EM areas)
- Conducting analysis of markets and credit analysis of potential bond issuers
- Assisting the team in the execution of bond issues
- Maintaining intellectual capital of the group, including databases of recent issues and pipelines
- Providing intelligence on Russian (and other CEEMEA) companies and markets
- Working closely with the Global Head of DCM to prepare internal and other presentations
Desirable role requirements
- Knowledge of the CEEMEA, including Russian and CIS corporate universe
- Knowledge of the capital markets
- Basic credit analysis skills
- Ability to function in a high pressure environment with tight timeframes
- Knowledge of Bloomberg preferred
- Experience in DCM (preferably emerging markets)
- Strong team player
- Good Attention to detail
- Detailed knowledge of Excel and Power Point
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with clients
- Russian speaking preferred but not essential
