Crédit Agricole CIB is the Corporate and Investment Banking arm of the Crédit Agricole Group, the world’s sixth-largest bank by total assets ('The Banker', July 2012). Crédit Agricole CIB offers its clients a comprehensive range of products and services in capital markets, brokerage, investment banking, structured finance, corporate banking and international private banking. The bank provides support to clients in large international markets through its network with a presence in major countries in Europe, Americas, Asia and Middle East.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the SSA Origination team and help support the bank’s effort in building the SSA Bond desk.
This position offers enormous opportunities for a person who wants to learn European Government bond Origination. The team is compact and hence expect constant and high level interaction.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist originators in the SSA team in developing SSA bond business
· Prepare in coordination with originators marketing materials to pitch SSA clients
· Assist senior bankers and product groups in marketing bonds and other financial products (securitization, derivatives etc)
· Assist in research
Essential role requirements
· Financial degree or equivalent
· Exposure to investment banking, ideally with exposure to Origination
· Hard working
· Flexible
· Good attention to detail
