Intern-Sales Support Associate
Description: Summary of Responsibilities: Support sales goals by assisting Regional Sales Vice Presidents and Internal Sales Team via the MetLife Broker/Dealer Sales Desk. Use sales tools to prepare portfolio analysis, and out put of hypothetical illustrations requested by the Sales Desk. Provide support for sales and marketing initiatives. Actively engage in special projects as needed. Assist in resolving operational issues. Coordinate marketing material for regional meetings, conferences and field use. Principal Responsibilities: 1. Support sales by analyzing prospective clients portfolios using Morningstar Advisor Workstation. Data entry for hypothetical illustrations / snapshot reports and creating bound presentations to assist the Internal Sales Desk and RVP's in supporting representative sales activities. 2. Maintain an up to date library of third party marketing material in electronic versions for the internal use. 7. Provide daily I-contact log of calls to sales desk. 8. Maintain all training and reference materials for the Internal Sales Team on an internal database. 10. See through to resolution escalated operational issues. 12. Gain understanding of all channels of distribution for the broker dealer and how to support them. 13. Take part in sales desk training for career development. 14. Establish productive relationships with internal sales team and internal business partners.
