Basic Qualifications For Consideration Are you currently enrolled at a college or university studying in one of the following programs (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering)? Typical Education/Experience High school diploma or GED. Other Job related information Desired Skills (Prioritized) - A MS candidate in Electrical or Computer Engineering is desired. - Programming automation and controls systems involving PLCs (programmable logic controllers) including any of the following PLCs (in order of preference): Allen Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens, or Omron. - Able to document your work clearly and with adequate detail. - General object-oriented programming skills and general knowledge of databases desired - Experience with Matlab and/or Labview a plus - Ability to create and read logic and flow diagrams for program design, programming, simulation and testing, and start-up. - Experience with logic auto-generation from templates is a plus. - General knowledge and troubleshooting skills with the following communication types a plus: Remote I/O (RIO), DeviceNet, EtherNet, ProfiNet Business Unit Engineering Ops Tech Division Boeing Research Technology Program Fast Job Type Non-Management Experience Level Intern US Person Status Required?
