As part of a team under close supervision, Interns will assist in performing a variety of developmental assignments learn new business tools. In addition, you will participate in enrichment activities for your professional development. KP has a wealth of online, self-paced learning available in all areas of Enterprise IT systems, management methodologies, application development. At the end of the Internship, the intern would have learned about the various activities involved in project management business analysis. Essential Functions SOX Operations is a service oriented organization focused on ensuring SOX Compliance throughout HP BIO. We would be looking for someone with a commitment to quality delivery, willing to collaborate with teammates and who has an understanding of the importance for task completion on schedule. SOX Operations provides SOX approvals processing, SOX document reviews and corrections and training. SOX OPS also compiles Quarterly reports for audit as well as supports internal audits and self-assessments. SOX Operations also provides risk analysis and makes corrective action recommendations. The intern will log production changes and associate them to approved change requests, conduct gap analysis on activities and provide communications for required follow-up. Interns will track what SOX documents are required for given changes, when they are required and if they are received according to plan. The intern will follow up on any delayed deliveries and will notify the application lead to impending risk Skills and Competencies the Intern will learn:Critical thinking, organization, project life cycle, SOX compliance controls THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN LAKE OSWEGO. OREGON 5800 SW Meadows Qualifications: Basic Qualifications - College students pursuing a Bachelor's Degree. - 2.8 GPA - Academic students seeking professional training within a business corporate environment - Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications - Students pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business or related degree with coursework in Information Systems. - Working knowledge of Visio and MS Project - Freshman or Sophomore college student with two or three summers remaining prior to graduation. - 6 to 12 months educational experience within coursework emphasizing specific technical or business curriculum.
