One of the UK's key healthcare providers, specialising in protecting people, reducing risk across infection control and healthcare compliance services beyond clinical waste collection, treatment and disposal; resource management strategies and hazardous waste management programmes is recruiting an Internal Account Manager. Providing a range of services to NHS trusts, GPs, dentists, pharmaceutical manufacturers, private sector businesses; research companies and many more they are renowned within their field.
Overall Role Responsibilities of the Internal Account Manager:
To proactively manage a portfolio of Independent and Private sector customer accounts, to up sell, cross sell and maximise potential revenue growth.
Main Tasks and Accountabilities of the Internal Account Manager:
• Provide a first class service to existing clients, receiving inbound and proactively make outbound calls to answer account related queries, selling the benefits of a wide range of products including SCS
• Negotiate new contracts for existing customers and promoting the organisation T C’s, longer term agreements and efficient payment methods.
• To drive sales to increase revenue through relationship building, active pipeline management and strategic pipeline building.
• Maximise all potential sales opportunities.
• To report performance of portfolio, Sales and Risk potentials on a weekly basis.
• To produce and deliver high quality presentation and reports for production to clients on request.
• Management of annual review process and retention issues for contracted customers.
• To perform site visits/Annual review meeting where deemed necessary and authorised by appropriate manager.
• To be the point of escalation in relation to the dedicated portfolio of clients
• Ensure that the CRM system is kept up to date and used effectively to drive efficient account management, sales and retentions process.
• Timely and accurate completion of all documentation and information systems.
• Report accurately upsell, cross sell and retention statistics on a daily basis.
• Ensuring compliance is met within the Independent’s book of customer.
• Work closely with the other team member to ensure daily workflow in order to meet the high level plans/expectations
• Work effectively with other team members/areas of the business
• Achievement of all KPIs on a daily basis
Skills and Competencies of the Internal Account Manager:
• Understanding of all the organisation products and services with the ability to match features, advantages and benefits to each individual customer.
• Uses CRM systems to effectively manage their personal workload, cases and pipeline.
• Capable of dealing with any customer no matter size or complexity of case within agreed parameters.
• An authority on all elements of the waste services market, up to date with market changes and pricing policies.
• Good people skills with the ability to build up relationships both internally and externally
• High motivation, enthusiasm and dedication are paramount.
• Highly motivated, Target driven with strong organisational skills.
• Excellent communicator
