A rare VP level internal audit job opportunity has arisen for a progressive Internal Audit leader to join a leading audit function in their London office. Working within this business would provide you with the opportunity to work alongside some of the world’s most talented internal auditors as we as offering unrivalled career opportunities for top performers.
As a VP, you would play a significant role in the delivery of large complex audit assignments across all areas of their banking operations covering retail, corporate, wealth and investment banking. You would be responsible for managing audit teams and whilst the role will not initially involve line management responsibility this is something that may happen in the future.
In order to be successful in this role you will need to show a strong background of leading complex banking audits, along with the management and leadership of audit teams. Previous exposure to payments or transactions audits within a banking environment would be preferred although strong audit methodology is more important. You would also need to show that you are able to deal with challenging situations. More importantly though, this is a role for a top performer and there will be very good opportunities for progression within the organisation so you will need to demonstrate a high level of ambition.
