My client, an international insurance broker is now seeking to recruit for an experienced Internal Auditor to work in their International Internal Audit team. Based in London reporting into the Head of Internal Audit you will assist with developing and implementing an annual risk based internal audit plan.

You will be responsible for reviewing the systems, assessing the effective conduct of its operations, review processes in place to identify and managed key risks in the organisation. 

You will also be responsible for the report writing and ensure the quality of internal audit work, maintain knowledge of general internal audit, insurance and regulatory issues as well as assisting the Head of Internal Audit in producing papers for Board Committees.

The ideal candidate will be part qualified with some professional internal or external audit experience within an insurance environment.

You will have a basic understanding of the principles and application of good corporate governance, business operational risk and control processes and processes and a basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

Knowledge of an additional language (Spanish, Portuguese or Mandarin) would be beneficial.

You will be a strong communication with good analytical and problem solving skills.
