Our client, a leading financial services organisation, seeks a high-calibre auditor to strengthen its corporate audit team. Internal Audit is widely seen as a "talent pool" for future business leaders and there are opportunities for people to join the team from a traditional practice external audit background, internal audit, IT audit and also quality assurance. These roles offer exposure to a wide range of internal audits and the opportunity to engage stakeholders across the business. You will be involved in planning and delivering audits and subsequent follow up on recommendations as well as mentoring more junior colleagues. This role would suit someone who is looking to secure their first move from practice into industry or someone currently working in an internal audit role within a commercial organisation. Applicants should hold a professional audit or accounting qualification - ACA, CA, ACCA, ICAP,ICAI, IIA, CIA or CISA and have excellent interpersonal skills. Good opportunities exist for further career development within the department or wider business.
