Our client, a market leading Investment Management with a superb reputation is seeking an Internal Audit Assistant Manager to assist in the development of their internal controls and audit framework. You will join the Internal Audit and Risk team and be responsible for:
• Assisting in designing and preparing the audit monitoring plan
• Planning ad-hoc audit and special assignments
• Assessing the risk findings of associated audits and recommend solutions to senior management
• Producing internal audit reports for senior management
• Assist with the supervision of junior staff and the development of audit techniques
You will ideally come from an audit background (practice/industry etc) and experience of Financial Services Audit would be particularly welcome. You will be a qualified accountant or with significant experience of internal audit in a similar background. As well as an understanding of audit and risk management you will also have excellent communication skills and capable of building relationships across all levels, both internally and externally.
