Global boutique Investment Bank is currently recruiting for its Internal Audit team in London.
This niche Investment Bank, specialises in capital markets asset backed lending for the transport industry and is looking for an individual who can ideally bring such experience, plus a number of years in a previous audit role, to its small team.
You will lead and/or participate in audits of all the banks global activities; ensure that the risk development for the bank activities is identified, documented and integrated within the audit approach e.g. audit programmes, risk assessments and represent Group Audit in bank projects; serve in a consultancy capacity during the development of group policies and procedures and new.
Applicants should have previous audit experience in a financial institution, preferably an international bank; credit related experience an advantage - transportation industry a plus (shipping, avaition, land); background/appreciation of corporate finance/asset based lending (i.e. big ticket lending and financing products.)
The successful individual will be able to demonstrate self determination (able to determine audit scope and tests required to undertake a risk assessment of function/department); experience of reviewing policies and procedures and determining relevant steps for insertion into audit programmes and work practices and the ability to contribute in a team environment and be able to work independently
Although travel is minimal, you should have the ability to travel.
