A new Internal Audit Manager job opportunity has arisen within leading audit function of a large Bank in The City. The Internal Audit function makes up part of the wider organisation that aims to be the best Bank for Customers.

The role will be to specialise and focus on the Banks global finance operations. You will have exposure to senior stakeholders across all functions. The successful candidate will deliver Lead and/or undertake a number of audits to provide reliable, independent assurance and agree management actions to enhance the controls framework. You will be involved with more complex audits, for example in terms of the subject matter; the size of team; the number of locations or stakeholders or the seniority of the stakeholders. Your core focus will be to Identify and assess potential risks working in line with current regulatory and statutory requirements to minimise impact to the business. This really is an excellent opportunity to further your career within a top banking organisation.

Candidates who have recent Finance Audit experience,either from Internal Audit banking environment or External Audit are highly desired by the Bank. The ideal candidate will be qualified ACCA/ACA or equivalent from within the big 4. The successful candidate will have experience of auditing banks from an external audit perspective. You could also currently be an Internal Auditor working within a bank. The successful candidate will posses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work well both individually and in a team environment. An excellent academic track record will also be an advantage as well as a second language.
