Internal Audit Manager, Asset Management recruitment
The Company
Our client is a well established asset management firm. Poised for their next exciting phase of expansion, they are now seeking to appoint an experienced internal auditor to be involved in the internal audit process across the business units.
The Role
- Audit planning and developing audit scope;
- Executing audits across the business function and preparing audit reports for management;
- Discussing audit findings and providing recommendations on process development;
- Assisting in formulating and updating policies and procedure;
- Ensuring internal control is properly in placed;
- Identifying and assessing deficiencies in internal controls and risk management;
- Liaising with external audit members;
- Supervising, reviewing and delegating work to junior staff; and
- Assisting in ad-hoc projects as required
Your Profile
The successful candidate will be undergraduate degree in accounting or finance with professional accounting qualification. You must have 6 or more years' audit experience with financial institution of which at least 3 years from Big 4 practice firms (with Asset Management industry audit) OR in internal audit in Asset Management. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will have solid background and understanding of accounting standards of HKFRS, IFRS and knowledgeable in FRR. Fluency in English and Cantonese a must, ability to speak other languages is a plus.
