Internal Audit Manager, Banking recruitment
The Company
Our Client is a growing commercial and investment bank with fantastic expanding plans and strong career opportunities. With robust growth plans in place for this financial year they require an experienced internal audit manager to work with their internal audit team.
The Role
The team is focused on providing audit services within the group across the commercial and investment banking business. The role is to implement the Group Audit methodology on all audit assignments, testing key controls, analysing problems and issues and to recommend appropriate actions. Furthermore, the successful applicant will ensure audits are conducted efficiently and communicated promptly to management, and, liaising with external audit partners to obtain local resources for delivery of services.
Your Profile
The successful candidate will be undergraduate degree in accounting or finance with professional accounting qualification. You must have 6 or more years' audit experience with financial institution of which at least 3 years from Big 4 practice firms (with Banking company audit) or has extensive internal audit experience from the banking industry. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will have solid background and understanding of accounting standards of HKFRS, IFRS and knowledgeable in HKMA Returns. Fluency in English and Cantonese a must, ability to speak other languages is a plus.
