Internal Audit Manager – Insurance recruitment

The Role
You will be involved in the following:
- development of the audit policy and audit methodology
- development of the Annual Audit Plan for approval by the Audit Committee, including analysis of the business and risk assessments
- completing audit processes and ensuring timely reporting using the approved audit methodology and according to the Audit Plan
- establishing contacts with all levels of management and discussing results with the Audit Head
- organise and follow up on audit report recommendations and evaluate the actions taken by business to correct reported weaknesses.
- quarterly reporting to the local Audit Committee and Management Letter to Head Office
- review of the quarterly JV Audit Committee materials
Minimal to no travelling is required of this candidate for this role.
Your Profile
Ideally you will be a qualified accountant with a total of 6-8 years big 4 external audit training coupled with internal audit experience within the insurance business. Candidates with pure big 4 external audit or internal audit experience in either the insurance or financial services client space will also be considered. You should be able
to confidently discuss audit findings and recommendations to the business. You will have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
