Internal Audit Manager recruitment
This position is an Audit manager position with a leading global retailer of Electrical goods. My client has been established in this area for over 50 years, operates over 220 stores and is the most profitable company in its sector.
Having developed a specialised Audit program for the French area of the company, they are now looking for someone to adapt this program to their international business. Although based from Paris you will be covering European regions (Italy, Spain, Turkey, Netherlands etc) and in the first year your work will be 25% in France, 75% in the previously mentioned regions. The company is a French company and their main business language is French, although fluent English skills are required. Knowledge of any other European languages will be a bonus.
You will have a dotted line responsibility for the team of Auditors which is between 12-18 people. Your main function will be to analyse and supervise the training, as well as manage some missions.
In terms of reporting lines you will report to the Director of Audit who is also based in Paris. He is keen to speak to candidates with your level of Big Four experience - 7-8 years at a management level.
Requirements:
- 6-8 years of Audit experience with a Big Four firm
- Management experience
- Experience in training or development of training methods
- Strong knowledge of Financial Auditing
- Experience with Industrial clients - Manufacturing, Retail, Services etc
- Masters in Finance, Engineering degree is a bonus
- Fluent speaker of French and English and one other European language (Spanish, Italian or Dutch are preferred)
- Based in Paris or willing to move there
- Happy to travel extensively on an international basis
