Internal Auditor

Our client a highly prestigious international organisation with excellent reputation in the insurance market are seeking a dynamic qualified internal auditor to play a pivotal part in the success of the business.

This is an excellent Internal Audit job for those with specialist knowledge and experience of the insurance market (either from external or internal audit background) looking for a truly new challenge where you can make your mark and shape your future progression.

You will be responsible for delivering internal audit assignments across all areas of the business as well as lead specific portfolio to meet business objectives in line with regional and global standards.

The role will involve conducting complex audits, identifying risk areas, providing feedback and report to seniors with clarity and precision, preparing conclusions and making recommendations.

To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:
*Qualified internal auditor (PIIA/ MIIA/ CCAB) OR ACA/ ACCA qualified accountant with internal audit experience.
*Experience and market knowledge of the insurance sector (qualified accountants with experience of internal audit assignments working alongside insurance clients will be considered).
*Experience of risk assessment, providing solutions, and implementing appropriate internal controls, systems and processes.
*Familiarity with the FSA or experience of dealing with the FSA in a regulated industry considered a plus but not essential.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Good team player as well as possess the ability to work independently and lead others when required.
*Ability to forge internal and external relationship.
*Self motivated, driven and ambitious.
