Internal Auditor – Capital Markets recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Planning and scoping audits, meeting with key people within the area being reviewed to understand the business and technology processes and identifying the key risks and controls to be assessed
- Preparing the audit testing program and assessing adequacy of the design and operation of the controls associated with the key risks identified
- Assessing risks and impact of the issues identified during audits and producing report to management
Skills and Experience
- Degree educated
- Qualified accountant or other relevant internal audit background
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience of auditing Securities business (equities, fixed income, foreign currency, commodities and their derivatives) and related middle and back office support functions either within a Big 4 firm or investment bank
- Self starter and quick learner with strong interpersonal skills
- Proven project management capabilities
Candidates must ideally be on no more than 3 weeks notice period.
