Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Perform internal financial, operational and compliance audits Testing internal controls Detailed documentation on audits Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, non-compliance with laws, regulations and management policies Prepare detailed reports on audit findings Report to management about audit results and recommend changes in operational, compliance or financial activities Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness and use of accepted accounting procedures Examine whether the organization's objectives are reflected in its management activities and whether employees understand the objectives Conduct the internal investigations of compliance issues Identify compliance issues that require follow up or investigation Keep informed regarding pending industry changes, trends, best practices and assess the potential impact of these changes on organizational processes
