This is a fantastic opportunity for an experience Auditor looking for a work life balance. The role will ideally suit a working parent requiring a 3 or 4 day working week. The environment still requires a dynamic individual with the right attitude. The job:
- Assist in the delivery of the comprehensive, risk-based annual audit plan.
- Responsibility for planning, conducting and delivering assigned day to day internal audit reviews and reports against the defined plan and timeframe.
- Involvement with Head of Audit and Group GM Internal Audit.
- Develop key internal and external relationships to progress recommendations made during reporting of internal audits completed.
- Develop deep understanding of the division allocated to manage and the wider business.
- Monitor status of outstanding audit issues.
- Ensure activities and behaviours comply with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, legal demands and professional and ethical standards.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
The requirements: Degree Qualified (financial accounting or relevant Business degree)Chartered accountant (CA) or (CPA) Ideally 7+ years experience in Internal AuditIdeally 3+ years experience in Big 4 environmentStrong understanding of financial services and industry standards.
