Credit Risk Internal Auditor
Based in the centre of London, the role is looking for a Credit Risk expert, ideally within an Audit function (Audit experience beneficial but not essential) and with Financial Services experience (ideally Banking).
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. Audit and/or Risk Management experience in a Financial Services Organisation
- Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. Experience of risk-based auditing in a globally matrixed organisation within Credit Risk
- Role relevant qualifications, i.e. Professional Accounting/Audit qualification (ACA, ACCA) is desirable but not essential
- A comprehensive understanding of risk management and proven experience of ensuring own/others' compliance with relevant regulatory processes
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leads the preparation of/prepares individual audit plans for the Credit Risk Audit space both regionally and globally.
- Assisting in the development of the annual audit plan and supporting completion of the plan.
- Ability to grade the materiality of audit findings, identify root causes and assesses the overall control risk and management awareness within the auditee business.
