Internal Communications Specialist (FTC up to 12 months) recruitment

We have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Communications Specialist to join our Marketing and Communications team for a period of up to 12 months on a Fixed Term Contract basis.
Marketing and Communications is a dynamic business area with responsibility for leading BNP Paribas to become the number one brand in Securities Services. The UK Marketing and Communications team implements the global strategy locally, developing and adapting according to regional needs. This is applied through marketing, internal and external communication, events and advertising.
The Internal Communications Specialist will be responsible for implementing the internal communications plan across the UK, communicating and engaging with staff. Applicants must have confident communication skills as you will be required to liaise with varied number of stakeholders including :
- All business lines,client development teams and functions
- External agencies
- External venues
Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare communications for a variety of internal channels including intranet, information screens and email
- Prepare and measure the UK version of the weekly email, web publications
- Organisation of quarterly all staff townhall meetings in London and Scotland
- Research and prepare articles for the online staff magazine, oneUK
- Provide communications advice and support to the business (functions, business lines, client development)
- Other communications projects that may arise e.g. Internal brand campaig
- Support of external events and marketing as required
Applications are welcomed from candidates with excellent writing skills gained from a similar communications role; with experience of financial services. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative within a results driven environment working to strict deadlines. Intranet communication and on-line survey tools experience essential.
