Internal Control Specialist

SUMMARY Support Corporate Finance and the business units in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance efforts, analyzing impact of new accounting standards, and integrating acquisitions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist business units with updates to the process documentation Assist with internal Sarbanes-Oxley testing at business unit locations Assist with the implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley for future acquisitions Assist in identifying areas for process improvement Work with the business unit controllers to communicate and quantify the impact of changes in accounting standards on the organization Perform other duties as assigned BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance 3-plus years related experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting U.S. GAAP experience Experience in internal auditing strongly preferred CPA, CIA or CMA certification Big Four experience preferred Proficiency in MS Office Suite Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal ~MJLG~# Oshkosh Corporation is an Equal Opportunity employer and is committed to providing equal opportunities for all employees and applicants.
