Internal Controls Analyst – $110k – $120k

The opportunity:This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Auditor coming from either “Big 4” Consulting or Financial Services business to join a growing team with the delivery of ambitious, strategic projects. The successful candidate must have the ability to engage with Senior Management and business stakeholders. They must also bring strong experience in Controls Analysis and Testing. Reporting into the Head of Internal Control, the Controls Analyst will be responsible for the delivery of some key business projects;
Implementation of global capabilities using global systems and platformsAnalyse existing global controls and liaise with relevant local teams to verify that the global controls are applicable and have been implemented.
Re-engineering Processes ProjectWhere required, participate in the relevant process workshop, identify and write the key control descriptions and test plans.
Consolidation ProjectsTransfer local controls framework to global control framework.
Requirements:
- The successful candidate must be CA/CPA qualified.
- 5-7 years’ experience with one of the “Big 4” accounting firms in an auditing role within the Financial Services sector.
- Ideally, will have experience with SAS 70 or ISAE 3402.
- Must possess strong analytical skills to analyse processes and to identify and to write control objectives and testing plans.
- Must be able to demonstrate clear and concise writing capabilities, with an ability to interact both verbally and in writing with various stakeholders.
- Candidate must be self-starters, able to work independently and capable of working to tight deadlines.
This is a fixed term contract with potential to extend or go permanent. The employee will be entitled to standard business holidays and benefits.
