Internal Finance Consultant recruitment
My client is a global energy giant looking for a very strong individual for this internal consulting role based within their Transformation division. The Transformation division is responsible for the coordination of operational strategy, management of all change projects and engaging with the business to ensure the change agenda is successful.
Reporting to the Head of Finance transformation, you will work closely with their internal partners, enabling them to gain a complete understanding of the operational requirements for a change to the organisation within a specific business area. They will be responsible for deriving solutions in partnership with third party resources, challenging them as and where required and referencing solutions against the benefits case.
You will be expected to work in partnership with senior managers and other managers deploying expert business analysis skill, broad business knowledge and specialist expertise to ensure that the strategic solution provides the significant business benefit. They, along with our partners, are instrumental in shaping the structure of the business change impacts. You will also work in close partnership with other Functional Business Architects and be expected to support their colleagues when required. They will liaise closely with the business to ensure that all changes impacting on people, customers, etc are recorded and resolved.
You will play a key role in achieving business change by being an acknowledged business process area expert. They derive business process solutions to efficiently meet the requirements of Finance,
You will have:
- Consulting experience; whether inhouse at a similar blue chip firm or external consulting for a global consultancy.
- The Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem solving environment, with attention to detail, a commitment to quality and the ability to think strategically
- A good foundation in business analysis skills using a variety of standard techniques.
- Experience of business process analysis and design techniques
- A good understanding of project lifecycles and the ability to produce comprehensive, complete documentation without functional gaps. An understanding of project management methodologies
- A financial qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA)
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and the energy industry
- Knowledge of the types of systems supporting those functional area such as SAP , Zainet, SONET or GSS (desired not essential)
- Excellent interpersonal skills – abililty to communicate with people of all backgrounds –both- finance non-finance.
