We're seeking a talented qualified actuarial professional to lead the design, development, testing, validation and documentation of the Internal Model for our highly respected client.

You will be reporting directly to the Head of Risk and your key responsibility will be to manage the Service Level Agreement (SLA) between the Risk function and the Capital Management Department within the Actuarial function.

Your previous experience will have covered responsibilities such as monitoring and contributing to
the development and implementation of the IM including IM Governance strategies and policies.

The content of the role is extensive and varied so our client is seeking someone with up-to-date knowledge of modern actuarial and statistical techniques. Of course, you will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present information to senior levels such as the Executive/Risk Committee. You will also have a good understanding of the universe of risks that may impact complemented by the ability to challenge judgements in a professional manner.

Naturally, with this level of role you will have a fine history of working in a similar role such as working in a UK life office environment and have experience of asset liability modelling using stochastic techniques. We'll be particularly interested to see details of your experience of working with an actuarial modelling system such as Prophet. You will probably have knowledge of option pricing theory and ideally experience of Solvency II internal models.
