You will be joining the business at an exciting time, in a new role within an entirely new business division. This European technology organisation has recently established a new business unit focused on research and development of exciting innovative technologies within their operating space. As a Recruiter within this team you will be making a range of key corporate functions and specialist hires to help drive the continued growth of the business unit.
Internal Recruiter - £35k-£40k - Berkshire: Role Responsibilities
You will be joining a fast growing recruitment team and as such your responsibilities may vary from day to day. You will also be given opportunities to progress and expand your role and undertake additional responsibility. However, from day one you will be required to:
• Take a comprehensive vacancy brief and working with both the Hiring Manager and with Talent Attraction to plan the most appropriate attraction strategy. You will be an expert in consulting and have the skills to question, challenge and negotiate to ensure that the role is fully specified, deliverable and planned before any work commences
• Ensuring effective liaison with the Talent Attraction Team with proactive sharing of information
• Managing and driving the recruitment process to a successful conclusion
• Own and manage the delivery of resourcing related projects e.g. process maps, graduate recruitment, design of assessment centres, selecting and building question banks for CBIs, reviewing new selection and assessment techniques
• Maintaining accurate and timely data records to enable simple generation of customer MI
In addition you may be responsible for:
• Managing and co-ordinating resource planning activity on a quarterly basis ensuring stakeholder buy-in and linkage to talent and succession activity
• Ensuring resourcing metrics effectively describe actual performance making recommendations and providing feedback to reporting colleagues
Internal Recruiter - £35k-£40k - Berkshire: Person Specification
To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate success in the following areas:
• A background either in-house or from an RPO, preferably recruiting across function in a technology business.
• Demonstrates alignment with the business values: Open minded, Committed, High Performing, Radical and Exciting
• Demonstrable experience of consulting, managing and influencing all stakeholders
• Recruitment expertise across the hiring process including project planning, taking a brief, selecting, interviewing and on-boarding
• Delivery focused; produces results whilst meeting the quality, time and cost objectives
• Understands the external market highlighting ways in which improvement can be made
• Coaching and training capability; demonstrable evidence to show ability in up skilling a range of stakeholders
• Experience of navigating recruitment systems and portals
