Our client is a privately owned value added provider of communications products and services to the UK and international business community. The company has always prided itself in forging long term alliances with market leading manufacturers and today represents some of the best known names in the industry such as Microsoft, Dialogic, NET and Quintum.

There is now a requirement for an Internal Sales Executive to join the team. This is an office based role and is a key position within the company. The successful candidate will have a proven background in Internal Sales within an IT / Telecoms / Technology environment (ideally VoIP or Microsoft Unified Communications), have experience of proactively finding new customers/resellers and supporting existing accounts. The company would also consider an engineer who would like to move into Sales. The client is seeking a good all rounder who is able to operate within a small team and who can grow with the company. This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist company in a pivotal role.

Job Description

An internal sales position which will involve the following sales activities across all business areas:

1. 75% - New business development in the Microsoft UC and VoIP space within the reseller community. Sales person will be responsible for developing reseller business in particular with boxed UC solution.
2. 25%- Dealing with inbound sales enquiries from end users and resellers where requirements will need to be qualified and solution specified by issuing quotes and then follow up with closing i.e. obtaining Purchase Order numbers.

Essential Experience:

Good technology background. Ideally in the VoIP and UC arena with at least 1 to 1.5 years new business sales experience. Must have an appreciation of the overall VoIP/UC/IT market and drivers within it.
Self-motivated and results driven individual with the aptitude to succeed and progress
Honest, reliable and dependable. Meeting objectives and deadlines
Excellent communication customer skills both written and oral
