Internal Sales Engineer
Job description for Internal Sales Engineer
The Internal Sales Engineer is in direct contact with the customer. You have a solid technical background, MTS or HTS in electrical or electronics, and you understand the customer’s needs. You are able to ask the right questions to inventorise those needs. AEG uses SAP and a CRM solution internally.
Main accountabilities
-Prepare sales quotations and technical drawings for the customers
- Support the sales force developing (technical) solutions in order to prepare a quotation
-Initiate preparation of technical documents for the order to start production process
-Develop and maintain good internal working relationships
-Maintain good working relationship with regular customers
-Develop good working relationships with new customers
-Maintain efficient and reliable quotes administration
-Join and support the Account Manager or Sales Engineer during sales preparation, presentations to customers’ and/or negotiating processes
Function requirements Internal Sales Engineer
-Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, or electronics
-3-5 years of relevant experience within a relevant industry with commercial experience
-Good knowledge of assigned markets and customers
-Understanding of commercial / contract law
-Computer Literacy
-Fluent in English, German is a plus
