Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

·           Responding to inbound enquiries from potential clients and following up all leads in a timely manner

·           Generating new business from proactive sales activities such as following up marketing campaigns and cold calling

·           Using established sales questioning techniques to gain a clear understanding of customers' business and requirements

·           Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale

·           Maintaining contact with prospective clients until sale closed

·           Maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients via telephone calls and emails

·           Building pipeline and maintaining the value at a level which will ensure sales targets are met

·           Responding to and following up incoming email and phone enquiries from existing clients

·           Preparing quotations for UK certification clients using the IT system provided

·           Liaising with operational staff when necessary in order to resolve queries

·           Identifying and feed future market trends back to management

·           Assisting in the  implementation of the UK Sales and Marketing Strategy

·           Providing written reports on sales activity and pipeline as requested

·           Maintain good computerised records and updating them on an ongoing basis

·           Attending team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues

·           Undertaking any other activities relevant to the role, as assigned by the UK Sales and Marketing Manager

·           Representing the organisation at trade exhibitions, events and seminars if required;

 

 

Performance Measures

·         Achievement of sales objectives as follows:

o    New sales - 3 year contract value against target

o    Win rate - quotes issued vs. won contracts

o    Pipeline - total value of outstanding quotes

o    Timely quotes submission

o    Timely follow up of enquiries

o    Average contract value

·         Regular attendance at weekly Sales and Marketing meetings
