Internal Staff Auditor
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Supports FMCNA’s mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy. Adheres to the FMCNA Compliance Program, including following all regulatory and division/company policy requirements.
The Staff Auditor (sA) assists any kind of audit, up to and including issuing the final follow-up report together with one or more supervising auditors or higher levels, out of the approved annual audit plan at all locations of FME. Based on the advice and guidance from the audit coordinator, the sA supports the completion of all audit work covering all audit cycles. In some cases more easy audit cycles can be performed independently based on the specific skills of the sA. The audit coordinator expects to be informed regularly by the sA of all audit issues and findings immediately.
DUTIES / ACTIVITIES:
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
- Responsible for driving the FMCNA culture through values and customer service standards.
- Accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers.
- Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication.
- Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Analyzes various Balance Sheet and PL accounts
- Performs audit procedures to obtain sufficient evidence to support audit findings and files work papers
- Supports preparation of audits, audit reports and presentations
- Supports the audit team by development of recommendations
- Assists with maintaining audit IT tool
- Participates in preparation of written communications (e.g., workpapers, audit reports, etc.)
- Assists with the completion of follow-up after agreed due dates
- Maintains audit programs and GIA standards
- Ensures completion of working papers under his/her area of responsibility and appropriate filing on servers
- Ensures timely and accurate data maintenance in Galileo regarding categorization and progress as well as attaching any official document
- Assists with follow-up on audit findings and completion of documentation in Galileo
- Supports the audit coordinator in all phases of single audits (planning, execution, reporting, follow-up)
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:
- Diploma/undergraduate degree or MBA in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Business Economics or an accepted business/engineering degree.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 1-3 years of business experience (health care industry is preferred) in auditing, accounting or other finance-related position (exposure to the internal audit function is preferred)
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within a business environment
- Limited experience in auditing or general accounting is preferred
- Analytical skills and effective communication
- Ability to interact with all levels of management
- Ability to conduct interviews with auditees
- Ability to balance multiple concurrent priorities
- Ability to work independently
- Possess strong organizational skills
- Fluent in English -speaking, writing, reading
- Proficient with all MS-Office applications
