The Internal Support Technician is the central communication hub inside Wright Business Technologies Inc. for all support calls, assisting onsite technicians, troubleshooting and supporting Wright Business Technologies’ customers via remote tools and the telephone.
The Internal Support Technician must be able to effectively and proactively work with customers and Wright’s technology to answer questions, support customer’s environments and deliver superior customer service.
Essential Duties:
The Internal Support Technician (IST) works from Wright Business Technologies Inc. (WBT) corporate headquarters in Houston troubleshooting and resolving customer’s technology issues. The IST works with Onsite Technicians (OST) to coordinate and resolve technology challenges for customers.
The IST is responsible for coordinating and completing monthly service checkups, Sentinel reports and production of reports, vendor trouble tickets and the proper maintenance of the internal products and workroom at WBT as well as answering customer technology questions. The most critical aspect of the IST is superior customer service. The IST must be able to effectively and efficiently communicate with WBT team members and customers.
The IST must be able to support the customers and staff via the phone, and remote access.

- MSFT Terminal Service
- LAN Networking
- Switches, routers and hubs

The IST must be able to quickly and accurately assess technical and customer service situations and provide the best possible solution for the customer to proactively maintain and support their network environment with minimal downtime and disruption to the customer.
The IST must be able to daily document and report on their time technical decisions made, parts purchased and hours billed to management thru use of software tools and onsite meetings.
The IST must maintain and demonstrate the highest level of professionalism, moral integrity and proper personal appearance at all times.
Must be able to lift a normal size server with the assistance of a cart.
