Internal Wholesaler / Inside Sales Consultant

This is a rare opportunity for qualified candidates to take their career to the next level by entering the industry with a top-tier organization.  In the past year, six individuals in this role have been promoted across the company, to departments such as marketing, portfolio construction services, private wealth management, and external wholesale.

We are assisting our client in their search for a Regional Sales Consultant for their Asset Management Group, to specifically work with financial advisors.

The Regional Sales Consultants will develop insights on the organizations portfolio of 85 mutual funds, separately managed accounts, and retirement products.

The purpose of this role is to increase product sales by frequent phone conversations with financial advisors. These conversations should increase the knowledge, awareness and propensity of wholesalers (both internal and external) to give presentations to their sales prospects on investment products such as 401(k), IRA's, Mutual Funds and Defined Contributions.

The successful candidate for this internal wholesaler position will have:
*A bachelor's degree;
*Strong interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills;
*At least one year of sales experience;
*Existing client relationship management experience;
*Financial services industry knowledge is essential;
*Series 6, 7 and/or 63 qualified is highly recommended.
