Internal Wholesaler Position recruitment

The internal wholesaler will work closely with his/her external wholesaler to maximize sales within their territory. Success in this position requires the ability to maintain a high level of service with existing financial advisor relationships as well as the ability to open doors to new business through proactive prospecting.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Service the relationship between sales team and advisors/brokers
  2. Develop new business within the territory by proactively introducing products to financial advisors that have never been communicated with.
  3. Initiate out-bound phone calls, email and mailings to financial advisors to increase sales.
  4. Provide a high level of service, product, and industry awareness to incoming territory calls while proactively leveraging sales avenues
  5. Troubleshoot post-sale operational issues, and manage literature fulfillment.
  6. Schedule quality appointments each week for the External Wholesaler to meet with producing or potentially producing representatives.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree
  2. Minimum of 2 years of related industry experience
  3. NASD Series 7  65 licenses
  4. Demonstrated ability to successfully make outbound calls.
  5. Strong computer skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  7. Must be a self starter and demonstrate a passion for sales
  8. Investment sales and alternative investment experience preferred
