Internal Wholesaler Position recruitment
The internal wholesaler will work closely with his/her external wholesaler to maximize sales within their territory. Success in this position requires the ability to maintain a high level of service with existing financial advisor relationships as well as the ability to open doors to new business through proactive prospecting.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Service the relationship between sales team and advisors/brokers
- Develop new business within the territory by proactively introducing products to financial advisors that have never been communicated with.
- Initiate out-bound phone calls, email and mailings to financial advisors to increase sales.
- Provide a high level of service, product, and industry awareness to incoming territory calls while proactively leveraging sales avenues
- Troubleshoot post-sale operational issues, and manage literature fulfillment.
- Schedule quality appointments each week for the External Wholesaler to meet with producing or potentially producing representatives.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 2 years of related industry experience
- NASD Series 7 65 licenses
- Demonstrated ability to successfully make outbound calls.
- Strong computer skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be a self starter and demonstrate a passion for sales
- Investment sales and alternative investment experience preferred
