Our Americas Distribution Group, located in Stamford, CT, is currently seeking an Internal Wholesaler to serve as an integral part of an elite Internal Wholesaler desk, responsible for sales of asset management products to independent and regional broker dealer distribution companies.
Key Responsibilities and Duties Include, but not Limited to:
- Partner with a designated external wholesaler(s) by providing follow-up and sales support.
- Build strong relationships with existing investment professionals in territory by consistently offering sales ideas and other forms of marketing support.
- Work with External Wholesalers to prospect new contacts to establish new relationships and generate business.
- Make 50-60 daily proactive outbound sales calls regarding Prospecting/Profiling, follow-up, Investment Updates, recognition calls and time sensitive campaigns.
- Proficiently utilize all applications i.e.:Principia Pro, Bloomberg, as well as competitive analysis of products.
Ideal Qualifications and Experience:
- 3+ years of Financial Industry experience in a sales capacity with a Financial Services firm;
- Extensive financial industry knowledge preferably with a strong Mutual Fund and Separately Managed Accounts product background;
- Enthusiastic team player and self starter with ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced sales environment;
- Clear and efficient communicator;
- Result oriented;
- Flexible and adaptable;
- Able to work multiple projects at the same time;
- Technologically proficient and knowledgeable;
- Strong customer relationship management and servicing skills as well as internal corporate relationship management capabilities;
- Completion of Series 7 and 66.
