Mission/Goals
We are looking for an experienced individual to facilitate and support the end-to-end lifecycle of Host and Home-based delegations on behalf of North West Europe. You will be the main contact for assigned Siemens Operating Companies and consult in all country delegation related matters.
What are my responsibilities?
- Delegation Account Management: Facilitate and support the end-to-end lifecycle of Host and Home Based delegations ensuring that delegation services are delivered as per defined Service Level Agreements.
- Compliance: responsible for ensuring maximum compliance with regards to taxation, immigration, social security, corporate security and other key areas.
- Delegation advisory: carry out pre delegation briefings and offers ongoing advice and support to the delegate, HR, business in liaison with other delegation centres where applicable.
- Remuneration Compensation: Responsible for consulting on delegate remuneration packages and associated processes, i.e. payroll transfers, payroll audits. Ensures that correct delegate payments are made.
- Delegation Systems: ensures accuracy of both delegate specific data on central databases and supporting logbooks in line with process requirements and mandated policy documents. Produce reports metrics.
- Processes: Identify and recommend the development and implementation of processes and system improvements to enhance the department's efficiency. Acts as expert and first point of contact for team members in relation to specific areas of expertise.
- Exception Escalation: action exceptions and escalations in line with internal processes facilitating correct procedures. Provide regular updates to key stakeholders and trouble shoots / escalates any issues where necessary.
- Additional Support: Performs other duties as assigned.
What do I need to qualify for the role?
- Knowledge and experience of global fiscal (tax and social security) regulations in relation to delegations.
- Experience in international delegation environment with some relevant HR background knowledge.
- A thorough understanding of global immigration requirements and all issues involved with international delegations.
- Strong Customer service skills with proven communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and numerical ability with attention to detail.
- Experience of using IT systems including internet research. Knowledge of relevant databases, e.g. SAP HR, KPMG link, MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook).
- Overseas experience / expatriate experience. Intercultural awareness - works effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
- Proven ability to establish and develop relationships at all levels within the business.
- Degree educated or equivalent; or relevant experience.
- Knowledge of German or another second language would be ideal.
- Familiar with GEM delegation policies and procedures.
