International Business Development Support recruitment

Background

This is a new role supporting the dynamic and growing International division. The role purpose is to support the sales/marketing of Funds to areas of the International business which currently include Nordic, Europe, Far East, Middle East and Channel Islands.  This role will be supporting Channel Islands and Asia Regions.  As a result the hours for this position are 8am to 4pm.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of different international client requirements + a proven ability to develop key relationships with internal and external parties and a good understanding of the investment management industry.



Job Description

Responsibilities include:-

• Develop and maintain relationships with international/offshore banks, life companies, private banks and institutional/professional clients across different time zones and geographies.

• To make proactive calls on a daily basis providing investment information and promoting the sales of my clients products to prospective clients.

• Follow-up of sales, repurchases, meetings and presentations

• Maintenance of the client contact database (CRM)

• Liaison with appropriate internal departments, i.e. marketing, fund management.

• Assist with the development of International fund range for Offshore markets.

• To prepare analysis to support business development proposals.

• Act as a point of contact for the respective Sales Directors providing support on points of investment and fund issues, attending road shows and meetings

• Work closely with the International team as the division develops.

• Aspects of general administration relating to Offshore clients.

• Provide proactive and energetic sales support to Sales Directors.

Experience Required

Proven experience working in an International/ Offshore client-orientated environment including business to business within the Financial Services.

Good understanding of Financial markets and of investment products. 

Experience supporting Sales Directors across location in remote offices across different time zones is helpful.
