International Client Manager Job in London, London UK

International Insight Client Manager - Base £25,000-£45,000 DOE plus £5K car allowance + 20% bonus + benefits
Based: Oxford/London
The Role:
To support our Client's global relationships with major FMCG clients, a position has become available for an Insight Client Manager to join the International Team based in Oxford and on site at client premises.
The Insight Client Manager will be responsible for building a trusted relationship with a major FMCG client by providing consumer and shopper insights based on international reporting tools and supporting them in their strategic and marketing endeavours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver global presentations based on retail sales, liaising with the client and the local entities
- Respond to cross-border / ad-hoc client queries
- Be prepared to present key insights around strategic trends
- Ensure the accuracy and relevance of all international reports
- Define the client objectives and involve the appropriate experts to optimize the existing relationship (modelling techniques, qualitative research, digital/on-line, new product developments, media, etc.)
- Develop effective working relationships with local teams
- Identify business opportunities through capitalizing on client needs as well as through cross-country analysis and coordinate with the appropriate parties
- Drive further penetration of the client organization
Candidate Requirements:
- Substantial market research/consumer insight experience in an FMCG environment
- Proven ability to analyze, interpret and present category overviews in a structured and comprehensive manner
- Fluent in English, knowledge of French and other European languages is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiar with key industry issues
- Problem-solving approach, oriented towards continuous performance improvement
- Evidence of ability to create and implement effective project plans
- Experience of working in a cross-cultural environment advantageous
- Some travel required, amount depending upon base location
Your background:
You could currently be working for a market research company, or working within a large FMCG company and looking to further your career at the world's largest market research agency.
You will possess a solid understanding of the FMCG sector. Your proven ability to analyse, interpret and present category overviews in a structured and comprehensive manner, astute commercial acumen and pin-sharp client focus will make you indispensable to our Client's business.
