International Compliance Analyst recruitment
The role includes the identification and systematic documentation of local regulations (multiple EMEA and other regional global jurisdictions), for areas including but not limited to activities in the following:
- Anti-corruption
- Anti-money laundering
- Anti-trust
- Government interaction
- Careful communication
- Corporate governance
- Commodity and securities trading
- Other programmes as developed by the CCOE
As many of the Group Companies’ trade globally a good understanding of international trade, and familiarity with customs activities and the movement of goods cross border would also be a major asset in this role. Also it is expected that the role will adapt with the individual and the continuous growth of the business.
Responsibilities
- Management of relationships with 3rdparty intermediaries (3PI)
- Assist in the development of compliance tools to track, manage, record and report to both CCOE and management.
- To build relationships and assist sites with their compliance calendar management.
- Assist with the management of any management of change scenarios to ensure that each new activity is documented and correctly assessed for compliance risk.
- Collate results from international risk assessments to ensure that best practice is identified and a synopsis is available to all sites.
- Ensure adherence to and become a champion of the client’s global Code of Conduct
- Mitigate commercial compliance issues, specifically in key risk areas
- Report up potential issues, ensuring that the ICM is aware of all high-risk commercial compliance activities.
- Ensure that measures and statistics are clear and accurate.
- There is an expectation that 20 to 30% of the role will involve international travel to various international Group and Subsidiary companies.

Requirements
- Thorough experience with European regulatory framework and enforcement and knowledge of local customs and culture
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a compliance-focused role, with significant experience implementing detailed risk management procedures in the areas of international commerce
- Ability to research regulations and provide practical interpretations.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience in development of commercial compliance standards, policies and training materials
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Fluent in English. Another European Language such as French would be considered an asset but not a requirement.

- Decisive and exercises sound judgement
- A self-starter and able facilitator who can work with minimal supervision but also able to provide support for the Group’s ICM.
Optional preference will be given to those with:
- Commercial compliance experience in the energy, manufacturing and/or transportation sectors
- Experience in conducting compliance investigations and due diligence of potential business partnerships
Education
Bachelors and/or Master Degrees or equivalent. Optional preference for degrees from the subject areas of: Business, Law, Public Affairs, Engineering, or Science
