International Fixed Income Strategist/Analyst – London recruitment

Summary:
The Fixed Income Strategy Team from Wealth Management is searching for an individual that will be responsible for the development, oversight, and communication of Wealth Management international fixed income investment strategy. This person will be located in London and reporting to the Managing Director of Fixed Income for Wealth Management.
Responsibilities Include:
- Building out Wealth Managements international fixed income investment strategy oversight.
- Develop a unified international fixed income investment strategy including all levels of developed emerging market debt and currency exposure.
- Provide guidance on international fixed income funds that are approved by Manager Research and best represent this strategy.
- Identify a model-like solution of individual international bonds that can be implemented in US accounts.
- Provide a framework for customizing international bond portfolios for larger international accounts. This will be implemented in US with Wealth Management clients.
- Develop benchmarks, process procedures for implementation in US.
- Monitor and provide oversight on all international fixed income strategy implementation.
- Provide eyes and ears on European developments both fixed income and general market related to domestic Wealth Management Investment team.
- Interface with third party money managers to gain broader market insight.
- Publish reports to distribute in US to Wealth Management clients and/or Investment professionals, and eventually to international prospects and NRA clients.
- Conduct client conference calls with an Investment Manager present.
- Provide on-sight due diligence of fund managers as an extension of the manger research team.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Extensive experience in either fixed income management or investment strategy experience (emphasis on international securities required).
- Must have demonstrated proficiency in writing preferably fixed income research related pieces.
- Self motivated individual that is also able to successfully partner cross-functionally.
- Experience and strong knowledge of currencies.
- Excellent analytic skills and/or research background.
- Strong presentation skills with a background of speaking to clients as a plus.
- CFA/MBA preferred.
Partnering Required:
This person will be part of Wealth Brokerage Retirement international strategy committee. Partnering will include: Wealth Management Manager Research, Global Investment Strategy, Wells Cap, Securities, and Wells Fargo Advisors.
