International Internal Auditor

My client is a multinational US company specialising in the production of wiring and cabling for Industrial and Consumer products. A significant part of their business also deals with the design and supply of these products across their global business areas.

They are looking for an experienced Auditor to join the European Audit team. You would be based from Quattordio (between Milan and Turin), which is an important industrial area. Your team is spread across Europe, giving you contact with a very diverse and international range of people. The position also gives you the chance to travel internationally, spending up to 50% of your time on missions mainly within the EMEA region.

The focus of your position is to work on operational audits of various business processes, and therefore the company is looking for someone with an analytical mind who is interested in and able to grasp key business risks and learn more about specialised business processes. A portion of the job will also be audit of financial accounts therefore some experience or education in Finance would be a bonus. Strong candidates will also have the opportunity to quickly take on supervisory responsibility.

You would report to the Internal Audit Director ho is looking for someone with an independant mindset, comfortable in dealing with senior member of the business. You should be eager to learn and develop yourself as Audit is seen as a stepping stone into the business, where you will have access to international operations and finance positions after 3 years.
