Our client is an expanding internet marketing company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. It is a market leader in the world of internet advertisement. It provides a wide variety of technical advertising solutions to businesses through online platforms and marketing tools. The company supports more than 3500 companies from a variety of industries. They are also expanding their operation to other emerging markets in South East Asia.
Due to an increasing number of international transactions, more English contracts and negotiations need to be completed. The legal team is currently seeking to add one more in-house staff to handle the increasing number of English commercial contracts. This is not your typical legal staff who handles domestic contracts and transactions. This is an International Legal professional who will be responsible for the company's English contracts, international business transactions, and the setup of necessary infrastructure for the company's new legal establishments in the South East Asian countries.
You should have approximately 3 years of English and/or Japanese contract drafting experience. A law degree or a license to practice law is preferred but not required. If you do not have a law degree or qualification, you should have at least 3 years of actual work experience in the area of commercial contract drafting and negotiation.
