I have recently had my services retained by a specialist manufacturer highly engineered valves, pumps, electronics and related products.

They currently have a requirement for experienced international sales professionals to drive and proactively manager business development activities for the maintenance, repair and overhaul sector alongside distribution channels. The primary responsibilities are:
- seeking new business development opportunities and maximising sales order value through creative and dynamic thinking.

- Demonstrating exceptional customer management competence, ensuring communication with internal teams is consistent and proactive to the customer's needs and expectations.

- To act as a point of excellence for an identified geographical region, providing expert knowledge on potential and existing customers, business development areas and industry conditions.

They are looking for someone with a strong background working with high performance butterfly valves and with extensive experience in international sales and strategy. You must have substantial experience working across a wide range of market sectors and you must have a proven track record of increasing project hit rates and winning new business. Ideally you will be degree educated in mechanical engineering.
