International Tax Accountant
Our client is a leading independent Oil and Gas production and exploration company with a base in Central London. They have engaged us on a sole basis to recruit for them an International Tax Accountant to take on a broad, varied and interesting workload.
The Tax accountant will be responsible for all aspects of tax compliance for the firm globally (UK, US, Netherlands) including preparation of tax packs and initial tax calculations, submission of tax returns and tax accounting for annual and interim financial statements.
They will also undertake on-going advisory work, specifically advice on international restructuring, and will assist the head of tax on a number of projects and ad-hoc work. There is also the opportunity to use and develop experience in indirect taxes and employee taxes.
This role would suit someone who has some in-house experience in a oilgas /energy company and who is looking for an exciting opportunity to boost their career. Alternatively it would also suit someone who has been trained in an accounting firm and wishes to make the first move in-house.
