International Tax and Estate Planning Attorney recruitment
Responsibilities
- General execution of Estate Planning strategies
- Maintain books and records (GAAP compliant)
- Offshore Structuring (Cayman, British Virgin Islands, and other similar jurisdictions)
- Effectively apply knowledge of international tax law
- Develop and deliver sophisticated, high-level estate, tax and financial planning advice, including interpreting legal documents, re/building trusts, consulting on tax implications, managing internal holdings and dual citizenship situations
- Stay current on existing and changing regulations and legislative rulings governing product offerings and legal and tax implications of strategies
Qualifications
- 4-7 years of professional experience in tax law, estate planning, or related field
- CPA designation
- BA/BS degree from a top tier school
- JD from a top tier law school
- Advanced capabilities for analyzing and communicating complicated financial and tax concepts
- Proven ability to multi-task and self-manage
- Ability to work an average of 50 hours per week
- Must be able to work in a fast paced professional environment and to adapt quickly
