International Tax Manager
A Big 4 firm currently present an excellent opportunity to join their well-established International Tax Team in London.
This global firm’s International Tax Treasury team consists of around 40 dedicated international tax and treasury specialists who help UK and international headed groups address all their international structuring and planning needs. The team help clients to determine the best approach to global tax strategy and structure, advise on how to expand into new markets, structure of financing and the appropriate location for assets and activity. You will also advise on reorganisations, cross border structuring, rationalisation and divestment.
Within this role, you will undertake international tax work and support the team by running a portfolio of clients. As International tax manager, you will work on a range of clients and sectors. Your responsibilities will include advising UK and international groups on a range of cross border tax issues and recommending strategies for managing clients’ effective tax rate. Additionally, you will project manage cross border teams and UK client service teams on advisory projects involving liaison with specialists, overseas member firms and external advisers to deliver successful projects and expertise. As the principal contact on day to day tax matters to allocated clients, you will get the opportunity to develop business and also be expected to train and develop junior members of staff.
In order to be successful, you will be CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified with 4-5 years of experience in tax. You will be a team player with excellent communication skills and sound judgement; including the ability to recognise and evaluate risk issues. High levels of analytical skills as well as a commercial approach to problem solving and providing advice will be essential skills for an International Tax Manager.
