International Tax Manager to $120K Job in Boston, Massachusetts US

We are assisting our client in their search for an International Tax Manager. Responsibilities will include liaise with business partners with respect to international tax issues and provide assistance on development and implementation of company-wide international planning initiatives; coordination and management of international tax strategies with external tax advisors; assist with the international portions of quarterly and annual tax provision process; manage company compliance with global transfer pricing policy; assist on tax issues associated with international acquisitions in both the diligence and integration phase; assist legal team in handling all tax issues related to the incorporation or rationalization of the company's legal entities; coordinate with international controllership on local tax compliance and country specific tax issues including adherence to tax rulings; assist with management and coordination of the company's international tax audits; manage US international tax compliance issues (Subpart F, §956, FTC, etc.; and keep abreast of changes in tax statutes and regulations; coordinate the research and evaluations with outside advisors and determine the impact on the company's operations. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA and/or MST/JD required;8 + years of corporate tax experience, including five years of international tax experience working in a public accounting firm, law firm, or corporate tax department; demonstrated knowledge of Federal income tax rules relating to international transactions; experience with financial modeling and quantitative analysis of tax positions and scenario planning; working knowledge of ASC 740; strong operational/business orientation and strong sense of initiative and drive; strong communicator with the ability to interact and communicate with all levels of corporate staff and management; excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines; and ability to think independently, to understand and anticipate issues at stake, and to resolve those issues in a manner demonstrative of solid business judgment and advisory acumen.
